3D LASER SCANNING

3D LASER SCANNING

Sometimes a component or tool is so complex that contact probes are unable to record all of its measurements. However, lasers work incredibly quickly and precisely. Leading manufacturers use 3D laser scanning in these kinds of situations because it combines the measurement capabilities of a portable coordinate measuring machine (CMM) with the non-contact capabilities of a laser line probe. Depending on the needs of the project, it offers three LLPs that maximize accuracy, speed or a combination of the two. Whichever LLP you use, 3D scanning can take accurate measurements in almost any setting, from the field to the manufacturing floor.
